Messi shared his thoughts: “My time in Europe was truly magical, I achieved all my goals. Now I have decided to continue my career in the United States and do not see myself returning to European fields.”
One of the most decorated footballers in history, Messi marked his name in history by receiving his eighth Ballon d’Or on October 30th. He has already taken home this prestigious prize in previous years – 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2016, 2019 and 2021.
