A group of scientists from the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration found a mysterious golden object at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. This happened live, while scanning the foot of the underwater volcano Denson as part of the Alaska Seascape project. The find turned out to be creepy – there was a ragged hole on its side, as if something was trying to get there. Or, more likely, escaped from there.

At the moment there is not a single reasoned version of what it could be. In addition to the most generalized one, it is a shell from the egg of some creature unknown to science. ItScientists have found an unknown golden object at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean should live at depths of over 3 km, where the golden object was found. Regarding its color, there are also no unambiguous versions, such coloring does not mask, but on the contrary, it draws attention to the egg, which is contrary to the laws of wildlife.

Scientists managed to take samples of the material of the object with the help of the manipulator of the underwater robot, it turned out to be very light and pliable, resembling silk. It is unknown if they found something else inside the strange object, or if they preferred to hide it. Now the DNA analysis of the material is being prepared to understand whether it is something alive or not.
