Before his upcoming UFC fight, Russian heavyweight Sergei Pavlovich sent a personal message to his future British opponent Tom Aspinall. The message appeared on the social network X, where the fighter posted a clip with fragments of his training, adding the comment: “You are always on my mind. Looking forward to meeting you in New York.”
A duel between Pavlovich and Aspinall is scheduled for November 12 at UFC 295 in New York, where they will compete for the title of interim heavyweight champion. Aspinall previously mentioned that plans to fight Pavlovich fell through twice as fights were cancelled.
In his last fight, which took place on April 23, Pavlovich defeated American Curtis Blaydes, achieving victory by technical knockout at the beginning of the fight.
Sergei Pavlovich, 31, boasts an impressive record of 17 wins from 18 fights, while his 30-year-old British opponent Aspinall has a record of 13 wins and three defeats.
